Mothering Does Matter

Nurturing the Nurturers

When I was little and people asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always the same: “A mommy!”By the time I was six, I had already become an aunt and had my first glimpse into the world of natural childbirth—and I was hooked. I grew up babysitting and counting down the years until I could have little ones of my own.

During my first pregnancy, I read everything I could about childbirth. I researched and prepared endlessly, but when that first contraction hit—I forgot it all. With my next child, I had a coach by my side. She had been through childbirth herself and understood that every contraction could bring new needs. With her guidance, I was able to focus on my body and the process of bringing my baby into the world.

That experience lit a fire in me. I knew then that I wanted to be there for other mothers—helping them feel supported, empowered, and able to truly celebrate motherhood.

With a background in Child Development, I understand the deep importance of motherhood—and as a mother myself, I’ve experienced both the highs and lows that come with it. Mothering takes time, patience, and a community of support. I believe we’re meant to learn from one another and lift each other up. That’s why I chose to walk alongside mothers—to help them feel confident, supported, and empowered to become the mothers they aspire to be.
